FOUNDATION TRAINING SCHEDULE 2019

All Courses listed are taught by Certified ConTact C.A.R.E® Instructor Jonathan Baker.
​Courses have become hugely popular, and get booked fairly far in advance. Please get in touch by email or use the contact form at the bottom of this page to register for your chosen course.

​Each course is capped at 10 - 12 students, this enables Jonathan to give personalized attention and support to each and every student throughout the weekend.

Jonathan's aim is to teach the Foundation Courses in a straightforward and logical manner that allows you to truly grasp what ConTact C.A.R.E® is, while constantly refining the workshops to the student’s needs.

Human ConTact C.A.R.E® Foundation Course

The Human Foundation Courses are a practical, hands on course, taught over two days by approved instructor Jonathan Baker. These courses lay a solid groundwork for what ConTact C.A.R.E® is, how it works, and gives you the skills to find and release Flinchlocked® bones yourself.

​Whether you are just starting out with ConTact C.A.R.E® or looking to refine your understanding or touch, Jonathan's Foundation Clinics are a supportive environment in which to learn. Jonathan is highly knowledgeable in his understanding of ConTact C.A.R.E®, and is a well regarded speaker, presenter and teacher, he has a kind and approachable nature, and teaches in such a way as to install confidence and clarity.

Training takes place at the Directions Healing Center in Mt Eden. There is plenty of off street parking, and the environment lends itself to a relaxing and nurturing environment in which to learn. Along with the benefit of private treatment rooms if required throughout the day. Remember to wear comfortable clothing as this is a hands on workshop.

Equine ConTact C.A.R.E® Foundation Course

This is a 2 day equine course designed specifically to give you practical hands on experience with what ConTact C.A.R.E is and the skills to find and release Flinchlocked® bones on the equine system.

Whether this is your first experience with ConTact C.A.R.E. or you are already practicing, these courses are designed to build your knowledge in a safe environment, and apply the Flinchlock Release Formula® in a controlled situation. Its the perfect place to grow your confidence, and learn directly from the horse itself.

Jonathan is knowledgeable in the equine system, and draws on his prior experience as a rehabilitative hoof care professional to show the subtle connections within the horses body. He looks at the whole horse in a holistic manner. He is a kind, patient teacher, and instills confidence and clarify into his students, as such these courses are suitable even for those who have never been around horses before.

One Day Equine Clinic Upskill Day

The Equine Clinic is a 1 day clinic which builds upon your knowledge of ConTact C.A.R.E gained from previous 2 Day Foundation Courses. Deepening your knowledge, and taking your practical skills to another level, this clinic takes and applies the Flinchlock Release® method to our equine partners.
  • Equine Clinics are held at various locations around Auckland.
  • For those of you moving towards practitioner training, this is counted towards your total hours.
  • Please note that prior attendance of at least 1 ConTact C.A.R.E. Human/Equine Foundation with Jonathan is required for 1 day clinics.
  • Equine Clinic 1 Day $180

One Day Animal Clinic

The Animal Clinic is a 1 day clinic specifically designed for owners or students treating animals - dogs, cats, and other pets. Many individuals want to know how they can apply ConTact C.A.R.E to their household pets, and this is just the place to nurture your confidence. Building on your previously gained knowledge of ConTact C.A.R.E, these 1 day clinics show you how to apply the Flinchlock Release® principles to our animal companions. Along with special considerations for how to work with different species, whether they be a cat, dog, bird, rabbit or something more exotic.

  • Pet 1 Day Clinics are held at Kiwi Valley Farm Park in Henderson Valley.
  • Please note that prior attendance of at least 1 ConTact C.A.R.E. Human/Equine Foundation with Jonathan is required for 1 day clinics.
  • ​For those of you moving towards practitioner training, this is counted towards your total hours.
